ABOUT
My desire is to listen carefully to your story, hearing and accepting what you want to say. I aim to help you identify themes, feelings, thoughts, or behaviours that may be problematic for you. I don’t intend to advise you but to give you tools and support as you make changes to move positively forward. Working integratively, I tailor therapy to fit you, combining elements of the person-centred approach, cognitive behavioural therapy and the psychodynamic approach. I am also trained in the Rewind Technique, used with trauma and phobias. Click here to find out more.
I believe building a strong and trusting relationship between us is very important. You can contact me to arrange an initial free and informal chat to see if you feel we might work well together.
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). Formerly a midwife, and group facilitator with survivors of modern slavery, I have years of experience supporting women. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, and a variety of other issues. My areas of special interest are birth trauma, general trauma, and sexual assault or abuse.
